How to Make Holiday Earrings in Just 10 Minutes - Elegant Cone Drop Earrings

Not all Christmas earrings have to look like they're Christmas earrings. This striking pair of earrings combines a delicate filigree cone with a classic glass pearl - simple and elegant.

But there's more to this stunning pair of earrings... they take just 10 minutes to assemble. So if you're short of time but you want to make something classy and tasteful, then this pair of dangly earrings is for you!

And if you choose a different coloured bead, this design will be suitable all year round.

Here are the supplies you'll need:

• 2 x Silver Plated 8 x 40mm Filigree Cones
• 2 x 12mm red glass pearls
• 2 silver bead caps
• 2 x 6mm or 8mm silver crystal rondelles
• 2 x 3mm silver ball beads
• 2 silver earring wires
• 2 x 61mm silver head pins
• tools: chain nose pliers, round nose pliers

Thread the beads and findings on the head pins in the order shown and then thread the head pin through the filigree cone. Flare out the points of the filigree so that the bead will slide up inside the cone a little. Take care not to scratch the bead.

 Turn a simple loop at the top of the cone. Trim away the excess if there is any.

Open the loop and hook onto the earring wire. Close it again and you're done! Make a second earring to match.
